Artist's Description
Reading, Pennsylvania (where my grandmother lived most of her life) has a fire watch tower on a hill high above the city. When I was a child, we'd climb to the top every time we visited. But the tower grew old, unsafe and was closed. One day, I was in town on business and the tower was open - just for that day. I wrapped my camera strap tightly around my neck and suspended my camera over the railing near the top of the tower for this shot.
