This is a spot in my favorite garden, Brookside Gardens in Silver Spring, MD. Once in the garden, the world outside (and Washington, D.C. is only a few miles outside) completely disappears. It's an oasis of calm and beauty. I used photography, Photoshop CS2 and Dynamic Auto Painter.

I believe in a Creator who made this land so lovely that I am compelled to share the vision with others. My works begin with a photograph and evolve through computer manipulation to enhance the luminous qualities of the picture. I became an artist the day I was introduced to finger painting in kindergarten and went on to major in art education in college.
