Artist's Description

This was a scene from a tiny 1 1/2 lane road in rural central Maryland. A road so unknown, I simply parked where I drove to take photos. You wouldn't know it from this picture, but the day was so hot that the tar on the road was gooey. I had to force my shoes to unstick from the road after I stood to take the pictures that were later pasted together for this scene. I left footprints on the road as I walked back to the car.
I altered this a bit in Photoshop.
