Artist's Description
A father wends his way home with his son and daughter from a day of sledding. The snow is still falling, but a strip of sunset says that it won't last much longer. Once they pass the barn, Mom will greet them at the kitchen door with hot chocolate (the kind with marshmallows in it). They'll peel off the wet layers of clothing and hold the warm mugs in cold-reddened fingers and laugh together as they retell the day's adventures.
