This is one of my favorite rivers to hike beside in Maryland. It's quiet and very beautiful. It's also a great workout in spots because the river is far below the main path and I liked hiking the river bank better. I got stuck once and spent an hour clawing my way up a cliff while trying to keep my camera from banging on the rocks.
